​​Arkansas Adventures Audition Page

Parkview’s annual production at Arkansas Adventures is an original touring children’s show made from the folk tales and history of our state. The greatest thing about Arkansas Adventures is that it allows for an ensemble cast (9th – 12th grade). The production consists of a student created play. Every actor is an integral part of the show and the entire cast must work together to tell stories of Arkansas’s history. In addition to performance, participants also get to experience what it is like to be a touring actor, complete with a mobile set and multiple school audiences in a day. If this sounds like fun, complete the audition packet and come to auditions!!! 


Arkansas Adventures Cast Guidelines:

We are very excited about your intent in auditioning for Arkansas Adventures! Please read the show guidelines and submit the actor/parent contract—an important part of committing to the success of our show. This form must be filled out and submitted by a parent by the day of your auditions.

  • By auditioning, the actor agrees to participate in Arkansas Adventures and commit to making it the best show possible.
  • Actors must read the tentative rehearsal schedule (below) and can commit to rehearsals. Please list any conflicts on audition form (conflicts are considered in casting decision).
  • Two unexcused absences from rehearsals may result in being dropped from the show.
  • Two tardies count as one unexcused absence.
  • Auditions and rehearsals will be held in Babbs Hall. Actors are not allowed to bring food or drink into Babbs Hall, excluding water.
  • Be a team player. Be positive. Be supportive. 
  • Commit to having fun and making this year’s Arkansas Adventures the best yet!
