THANKS FOR AUDITIONING

ARKANSAS ADVENTURES
Before you check the cast list for the 2019 production of Arkansas Adventures, please remember the following things:
1) We had 60 students audition this year. That's awesome, but it also means that we were not able to cast over half of the students who auditioned. There were SO many talented students we were unable to cast due to casting limits.
2) By showing up and doing your best at auditions, you've done something that many students will never have the courage to do. Be proud of yourself for showing up and putting forth your best effort. You have our respect and appreciation.
3) Casting is not personal. The Audition Committee makes casting decisions as a group based on logistics and who they think is right for the opportunity, NOT on who they “like” best. Regardless of whether you have been in every production of Arkansas Adventures or have never been cast before, we are unable to cast every person (though sometimes we wish we could). Casting is hard and we care about each one of you.
4) If you don’t get cast, remember there will always be more opportunities at Parkview and/or beyond. Theatre is available for anyone who pursues it! Auditions for 9th Grade One Acts, Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe are next in line. Keep auditioning!!!
