Parkview Musical Theatre Audition Pathway
Students interested in the Musical Theatre Performance track should:
STEP ONE:
Memorize and perform 16 bars of a song from a musical theatre play of your choice. You are responsible for providing your own recorded accompaniment for your song. Recording can be recorded piano or musical accompaniment track. Recording cannot have someone singing on it.
STEP TWO:
Memorize and perform the choreography demonstrated in the following videos.

VIDEO 3: Audition Dance Back View
TIP: In preparing the song and dance, consider the character and tone of the music for both pieces and attempt to authentically convey them through your performance. In addition to the song and dance, faculty panel members will observe performers in ensemble exercises and informally interview performers in small groups.
